A startup with 4 employees that grew to become the largest car rental broker in the Travel industry which was sold for a reported £60 million.
The Strategy
After analysing 15 well-known competitors we identified that these competitors all targeted the same high-value holiday locations in Europe, effectively leaving the US, UK and Irish market wide open. The competitors also failed to offer a usable white label affiliate booking engine.
The Results
Growing the bookings from 15 per day to 150 per day in a 90 day period identified SEO as the most cost-effective route to market over PPC and traditional advertising. Within 12 months the daily sales reached over 500 per day and continued towards 1000 per day for the following 12 months.
